About Us

Northwest County Volunteer Fire Department serves communities in Hudspeth County, TX including Desert Haven, Loma Linda, and Cornudas via contract with Hudspeth County ESD #2.

We are a Non-Profit Corporation formed under the Business Organizations Code of the State of Texas on file with the Secretary of State, and we are an exempt 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. 

The mission of Northwest County Volunteer Fire Department is to save lives and protect property endangered by fires, motor vehicle accident response/rescue, provide emergency assistance for other disasters, and to promote the teaching and practice of fire prevention and protection.
